The Academic is an indie rock band from Westmeath, Ireland that was born in 2013.

Matt Murtagh – Guitarist
Stephen Murtagh – Bassist
Dean Gavin – Drummer
Those four lads played at the Fabrique Club in Milan on the 13th of November 2017 as opening act for The Kooks, famous British band.
